14 years of 9 sticks a day -- in my belly, thighs, and my fingertips which are now black and blue.
(365 days a year X 9 sticks a day) X 14 years with diabetes = 45,990 sticks -- WOW
I am tired and bruised and very bad at math.
Ow! I am certain your hands are still beautiful, but wow can I sympathize with being a pin cushion. It does sound like you stay on top of it, which is a good thing. But, yuck, what a price to pay. Bless you.
